Their Perspective

When I first saw this house, I knew it was going to be something special. What a privilege to work on such an iconic style - a true Australian beach house. My goal was to honor its character while reimagining the interiors so they felt deeply connected to the surroundings.

Reworking the floorplan was key, improving flow and functionality, while carefully preserving the architectural details that give the home its character.

This home had such beautiful bones and a distinctly traditional feel, but the spaces needed reimagining to truly work for a modern family.

For this project, the challenge was to take a beloved but cramped Californian bungalow and reimagine it as a home that truly worked for a modern family.
