I wanted the interiors to reflect the surrounding environment; calm, natural, and enduring. Warm woods, natural stone, and soft, layered colors form the foundation, creating spaces that feel both functional and timeless. To enhance the home’s existing architectural features, we added wainscoting throughout, carrying it up the staircase for continuity. The powder room, with its bold splash of color, provides a playful contrast and has quickly become our client’s favorite room.

Every space was carefully considered to balance individuality and cohesion. The three bathrooms were designed to suit their users while still feeling consistent with the rest of the home. The kitchen island is a true workhorse, with integrated chill drawers, storage, and a microwave, while the mudroom— with slate floors and a custom glass sliding door— keeps muddy paws contained without blocking natural light.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful design can elevate everyday living. By blending natural materials, intelligent layout solutions, bespoke details, and enhanced architectural features, the home feels serene, polished, and entirely livable—a reflection of the family’s lifestyle and personality.
